Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2006 runway boots from John Galliano's collection, crafted in soft black leather with a tall knee-high shaft and substantial wooden-effect heel. The boots feature gathered leather through the shaft and a structured ankle section secured with wide straps, oversized circular buckles and silver-tone studs. The hardware continues around the ankle and sits quite close to the foot, giving the fit a more fitted feel in this area. A stitched welt and slightly raised sole add weight to the base, while the pointed toe and tall shaft lengthen the leg. The boots were part of Galliano's Fall/Winter 2006 collection, which drew on rock, biker and medieval references, with heavy boots appearing throughout the runway. They were also worn by Kate Moss in the season's Dior campaign, photographed by Nick Knight.
