Dsquared2 S/S 2006 western-inspired three-piece set. Look #18. An incredible runway set consisting of a top, skirt and matching belt, combining washed navy denim with rich brown lamb leather in one of the sexiest silhouettes imaginable. The skirt falls into a dramatic fishtail shape, while the leather belt is finished with two beautiful bird motifs and intricate western-inspired detailing throughout. From Dsquared2’s Spring/Summer 2006 collection, Dean and Dan Caten transformed the runway into a full-on “hee-haw hoedown,” drawing inspiration from spaghetti Westerns, rodeo culture and exaggerated ranchwear. With its mix of denim, leather, saddlery-inspired details and a sharply feminine fit, this set feels like one of the collection’s most beautiful interpretations of the Wild West.
