Undercover Fall/Winter 2007 black mini dress — runway piece, seen in a different colourway in look #41. An incredible piece from Jun Takahashi’s futuristic F/W 2007 collection, crafted from a luxurious mix of soft black wool and silk. The dress features an unreal sculptural shape and experimental panel construction, with a softly draped neckline, curved seams and contrasting textured inserts across the shoulders and bodice. Dolly fit in the best way possible! This season combined technical innovation with Undercover’s signature subversive approach, featuring climate-responsive fabrics, waterproofed knits and lightweight outerwear alongside sporty jersey, wool, sheer inserts and experimental silhouettes. Despite its futuristic and highly conceptual ideas, the season remained surprisingly wearable — with many of its technical details kept “undercover,” only revealing themselves on closer inspection.
