‘Zwischenstopp’ is an experimental short film exploring the journey of the soul through life, death, and the endless cycle of transformation. The title, meaning ‘stopover’ in German, reflects the idea of human existence as a temporary passage between two states of the unknown. Drawing on concepts of collective consciousness, energy, and reincarnation, the film portrays the human body as both a vessel and a constraint for the soul, which longs to return to its original, boundless form. Life becomes a fleeting moment within an eternal cycle, where death is not an ending but a return to freedom and the beginning of another transformation.
